1. Introduction
Welcome to a direct booking website powered by Hostify Tenant, where you can book high-quality, professionally managed vacation rentals. These Terms of Use apply to all guests booking through Hostify Tenant-powered websites and govern your access to and use of the platform, including reservations and payments.
This website is operated by a Property Manager (PMC) using Hostify Tenant technology. While Hostify Tenant provides the technical platform, the services related to your stay—including communication, maintenance, check-in, cancellation, and dispute resolution—are handled solely by Hostify Tenant, the PMC responsible for your reservation. You will receive full PMC contact information in your booking confirmation.
By booking, you agree to these Terms and any specific policies defined by the PMC facilitating your stay.
2. Eligibility and Registration
To book on the platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate personal details and payment information.
- Use the platform solely for personal, lawful, non-commercial travel purposes.
Prohibited Use: Creating fake accounts, misrepresenting identity, or engaging in illegal activity is strictly forbidden.
3. Booking Process
How Booking Works:
You may browse listings, input travel dates and preferences, and choose from available properties. Each listing is managed by a PMC and includes property details, cancellation policy, pricing, and house rules.
To confirm a booking, you must:
- Enter valid personal and payment information.
- Accept these Terms, house rules, and the specific cancellation policy defined by the PMC.
Upon payment, a confirmation email will be sent including:
- PMC contact details
- Check-in information (if already provided)
- A link to view your reservation
Your booking is confirmed with Hostify Tenant, who is solely responsible for fulfilling your reservation. All communication, services, and guest support will be managed by the PMC.
Rates & Payments:
- Prices are shown in EUR and include applicable taxes and fees.
- Full payment is required at booking.
- Supported payment methods include major cards and digital wallets via Stripe.
No Service Fees:
Guests are not charged Hostify Tenant service fees. All fees are embedded in the final price.
Cancellations:
- Guest-initiated: Refunds are processed based on the PMC's cancellation policy (visible at booking).
- PMC-initiated: Full refund is issued. The PMC may offer alternatives, subject to guest approval.
Payment Disputes:
Any payment issues must be directed to the PMC. The PMC is the merchant of record and will be responsible for resolution, including refunds, modifications, or claims.
4. Guest Conduct Policy
Guests must:
- Respect house rules, occupancy limits, and quiet hours.
- Avoid damage or misuse of the property.
- Maintain polite, responsive communication with the PMC.
Pets:
- Allowed only if specified.
- Service animals permitted with advance notice and documentation.
5. Damages & Claims
Responsibility:
Guests are responsible for any damage, missing items, or violations during the stay.
Process:
- The PMC will inspect the property post-checkout.
- Damage must be reported within 48 hours.
- Guests will be notified and charged for any confirmed damage.
Disputes:
All disputes regarding damage or additional charges must be resolved directly with the PMC. Hostify Tenant does not intervene in these matters.
6. Violations & Enforcement
Consequences include:
- Fines (charged to the card on file)
- Eviction without refund
- Legal action in severe cases
7. Dispute Resolution
Reporting Issues:
If an issue arises, contact the PMC directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation email.
Mediation:
Hostify Tenant does not mediate or arbitrate disputes. The PMC is solely responsible for resolving complaints, refunds, or service issues.
Timeframe:
Any applicable timeframes for resolution or guest communication will be defined by the PMC.
Final Decision:
The PMC’s decision regarding their services is binding. Hostify Tenant has no authority to override PMC decisions.
8. Respectful Conduct
Guests must:
- Be courteous to hosts, neighbors, and local residents.
- Follow cultural norms and community guidelines.
Feedback & Reviews:
- Honest, respectful reviews are encouraged.
- Inflammatory or false content may be removed.
9. Liability and Indemnification
Hostify Tenant’s Role:
Hostify Tenant provides the technology infrastructure for booking but is not a property operator, service provider, or intermediary in guest-PMC transactions.
PMC Responsibility:
The PMC managing the property is responsible for all services, communications, property quality, legality, and guest support.
Guest Liability:
Guests agree to indemnify Hostify Tenant from any claims arising from:
- Property damage
- Legal violations
- Disputes with the PMC
Travel Insurance:
Guests are encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance.
10. Terms Updates
Changes:
Hostify Tenant may update these Terms. Significant changes will be displayed on the platform.
Immediate Effect:
Urgent legal or security updates may apply immediately.
Guest Responsibility:
Continued use implies acceptance of updated terms.
11. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement:
These Terms supersede all prior communications.
Severability:
If a clause is invalid, the rest remain in force.
Force Majeure:
Hostify Tenant is not liable for disruption due to events beyond its control.
NOTE: This site is operated by Hostify Tenant using Hostify Tenant technology. All services, stays, and guest interactions are managed directly by the PMC. Hostify Tenant is not a party to the booking contract.
